Bridge Programs
Bridge programs are unique career development opportunities at Fisher. They allow you to explore other roles and groups across the firm while growing your skills and knowledge. These dynamic programs offer immersive “day in the life” learning experiences. After successfully completing a Bridge program, you could potentially receive a job offer and move into a new role.
While Bridge requirements vary, you should consider each program as a serious commitment. If you are interested in participating, discuss this with your manager and consider submitting a job shadow request to learn more about the role before submitting your application.

"The bridge program gave me the chance to network and pursue a brand-new career path with confidence. Becoming an IC was something I had wanted to do when I started at Fisher straight out of college, but without outside experience I did not know if it would be possible. Participating in Bridge gave me the information, feedback and practice I needed to shed my doubts and launch my financial professional career in PCGI."

Global Shadow Program
Expand your awareness and make new connections! The Global Job Shadow Program provides you with greater awareness and knowledge of business units, teams, and roles across the Fisher organization through on-the-job learning. Knowing your options, learning about the business, and building a network are integral to your development as you grow a unique Fisher career.
Depending on your goals, you’ll pick between an Educational Job Shadow or Transitional Job Shadow. You can discuss these options with your manager and consider your Business Units of interest prior to submitting a request.

"I participated in several job shadows across both client-facing and non-client-facing teams. This gave me a broader understanding of not just the work we do, but the culture that drives it. Seeing the passion people bring to their roles helped me understand how to tailor the programs I support more effectively. The connections I built through job shadowing also made it easier to ask the right questions and get honest, useful feedback. And it fast-tracked my ability to add value in my role."

Global Career Counseling
This resource is available to Fisher employees at all levels and locations to support individual career development through thoughtful conversations and guidance provided by our Career Counselors. A diverse, tenured group of leaders across the organization are prepared to support your career journey as you better know yourself, know your options and focus on a plan to further your career.
You can review the Career Counselor bios to get a better understanding of their Fisher journey, and request to schedule a 30-60 minute session to discuss Career Development, Self-Development, Firm Perspective and Competency & Skill Development. You’ll leave the meeting with greater insights, perspective, and next steps for focus areas that you can share with your manager.

"My counsellor has always given me their opinions and ideas, not focused on my current role but rather on how I can develop my skills now and further down the line. I have promoted this programme on several occasions because I find it truly beneficial to your personal and professional growth, and to hear the opinions from individuals other than your immediate manager. Furthermore, you get a unique chance to receive advice and connect with senior management."
