The Opportunity:

The Financial Planning Services group is looking for an Estate Planning Team Leader to join the leadership team for our fast-growing group. Financial Planning Services strives to elevate the experience for all US PCG Clients by providing direction, education and honest assessments from unbiased experts to both clients and their Investment Counselors.  We work with Investment Counselors to become a fully integrated part of clients’ financial lives, empowering clients to make well-educated decisions and to feel confident and secure in their financial future.

The team adds value through:

Direct Interaction: Engage Clients and Investment Counselors directly to answer questions and help them make informed estate planning decisions, in both one-one on engagements and larger client program events.

Educational Opportunities: Share planning insights and concepts to aid front line employees with the knowledge to educate clients and serve as internal experts on estate planning topics, including ongoing formal content deliverables, newsletters, and workshops for Investment Counselors.

As an Estate Planning TL, you will lead a team of highly experienced and motivated Estate Planning Specialists in supporting and building our services. You will use your strategic thinking skills to ensure the work produced by the group delivers the accuracy and consistency our clients expect. You will also work to develop new strategies to help scale the group, while also planning and executing on time-sensitive projects.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Oversight of Estate Planning Specialists, ensuring consistent delivery of requested information and satisfaction of our internal and external clients
  • Ensure accountability while creating an atmosphere that encourages talent development, employee engagement, recognition and training
  • Use data to measure the impact of current offerings, to create or revise current processes or deliverables
  • Audit completed estate planning requests and client survey responses
  • Elicit cooperation from multiple sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • Guide the metric-based performance of motivated professionals
  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new Estate Planning Specialists
  • Produce monthly efficiency metrics and survey metrics

Your Qualifications:

  • Quick and nimble learning – the ability to pick up new concepts and technology quickly
  • Excel in a fast-moving environment that demands flexibility and creativity
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all internal clients, including members of Senior Management
  • Are a decision maker that exercises good judgement.
  • In-depth knowledge of estate and financial planning topics preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership at Fisher, past management experience preferred, internally or externally
  • Already passed (or are willing to pass) the SIE, Series 7 and Series 65

We will conduct a preliminary screen of applicants based on qualifications, performance and manager feedback.
