The Opportunity:
The Portfolio Management (PMG) Business Analyst works in the office and is responsible for analyzing critical business needs related to the proper execution of the firm’s portfolio management activities. This person has a deep understanding of PMG processes and pain-points and is responsible for identifying and implementing high-value enhancements.
The Day-to-Day:
- Elicit requirements from key stakeholders on business needs
- Develop and leverage a deep understanding of relevant applications to identify the effectiveness of short and long-term solutions
- Develop and leverage a deep understanding of portfolio-related data sets (e.g. positions, transactions, etc.) to assess and map data across various sources and targets
- Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and/or reduce risk
- Develop effective relationships with partners across the enterprise
- Manage effective communications with stakeholders
- Create and maintain professional level documentation as needed
- Design metrics to monitor the effectiveness of current and future processes
- Bridge gaps between internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Participate as needed in Scrum Team activities
- Works onsite, under direct supervision, in a team-based and open office environment
Your Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Fisher Investments experience preferred
- Highly developed qualitative and/or quantitative skills required
- Ability to analyze various situations and develop creative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
