The Opportunity:

The Enterprise Risk Governance Program Manager works in the office and will leverage an understanding of regulatory requirements and practical experience to establish policy, process and management structures to develop strong internal governance around AI systems and use. They will work in the office alongside other members of the Enterprise Risk Management group and collaborate closely with members of risk, security, compliance, data privacy, and AI solutions teams to

develop an effective and proportionate approach to managing AI solutions across the enterprise.

  • Thinks strategically to assess business needs, determine solutions and implement programs to solve, improve, or create business processes or programs
  • Manages a large program or multiple programs within a business unit or multiple business units to ensure the elements are completely and efficiently meeting the business requirements
  • Defines program objectives, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Proactively manages changes in program(s), identifies dependencies and critical path, oversees delivery and quality control efforts, and develops contingency plans
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining all timelines and budgets related to assigned program(s)
  • Based on evaluation, makes recommendations to management regarding solutions to resolve business problems to ensure success of assigned program(s)
  • Assesses requirements to deliver program components and sub-components, which may include implementation of solution, staffing of the projects, timelines, etc.
  • Coordinates all departments related to the program which may include IT, and Finance
  • Third Party Vendors and Business Users
  • Guides and directs the work of assigned program resources which may include department personnel, Business Analysts and Project Managers to evaluate current business processes and requirements
  • Identifies and manages program dependencies and critical path items to ensure successful program operations and delivery
  • Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises program team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Develops best practices and tools for program execution and management
  • Works onsite, under direct supervision, in a team-based and open office environment

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Creates and maintains the AI governance documents and management information.
  • Performs thorough evaluation of all AI solutions prior to their deployment, ensuring they meet appropriate standards. Document all findings, recommendations, and implementation details for transparency to leadership
  • Gathers and analyzes information to enable effective evaluation of AI risks
  • Develops risk mitigation plans and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of those plans
  • Ensures AI risk controls and guidance are kept up to date to meet evolving governance standards of the enterprise
  • Stays up to date with the latest advancements in AI and integration technologies
  • Produces reporting for program governance forums, senior management, and other stakeholder groups

All positions assigned to a corporate office location are required to work in an open office environment for supervision, coaching, development, mentoring, team building, culture reinforcement, quality control, efficiency, regulatory, risk management, confidentiality, and information security reasons.

Your Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Understanding of Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies. Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models (MMMs). Familiarity with Azure Open AI
  • Broad knowledge of risk management strategies
  • Proven experience in integrating AI models into production environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problemsolving capabilities
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • Highly-developed analytical ability
  • Strong familiarity with change management and creative independent problem solving
