The Opportunity:

The FIE New Employee Onboarding Specialist provides support to the firm’s candidacy and new hire process, with a focus on EMEA entities. They assist with various tasks, ensure a timely response to internal and external questions, and act as a point of contact for hiring managers and candidates throughout the clearance process.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Oversees assigned operational tasks with mid-level complexity through to completion
  • Serves as a point of contact for the team and/or specific function
  • Identifies areas for improvement and recommends and works with management to implement proposed solutions
  • Supports the growth of the business through various projects
  • Identifies, creates and develops documentation for group
  • Follows group and firm policies and procedures
  • Responsible for properly handling sensitive and/or confidential documents
  • Responsible for mentoring associates on the team

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • FIE New Employee Onboarding Specialist:
    • Responsible for independently overseeing international candidate management and clearance process; processes offers of employment, employment contracts, the onboarding of Tied Agents/Contingent Workers, and all associated onboarding steps; coordinates with Corporate Learning and Development for new employee onboarding; maintains data in the HR record keeping system and ensures proper documentation on file for all employees.

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required
  • At least 2 years of Fisher Investments or relevant experience preferred
  • Proven track record of success in previous role(s)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Preferably fluent in English and German, but not required
