The Opportunity:

The FIUK Private Client Advice group provides regulated advice on investment allocations, risk profiling and financial planning to new and existing clients in the UK. The group provides various deliverables—including investment portfolio recommendations, cash flow analysis, Morningstar mappings, income drawdown advice, estate planning advice and more —to help educate clients who are at each stage of the sales and advice process or who have been clients for many years.

The Private Client Advice Team Leader role will be key to the success of the group. The Team Leader we are looking for now will specialise in managing a team of Associates and Analysts in London who will prepare advice and research for new/existing UK clients and liaise closely with internal clients such as PCD’s, IC’s or Client Development professionals. This is an incredible opportunity to develop the skills that successful candidates should already have a foundation in: excellent communication skills, strong leadership, change management and a strong sense of ensuring positive client outcomes and furthering the goals of the business. The TLs in the Private Client Advice group will have the ability to help shape the advice process as the business grows over the coming years.

The Day-to-Day:

• Manage day-to-day workflows to ensure deliverables are provided in a timely, efficient manner
• Mentor team individuals in matters related to both productivity and professional development
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members focusing on goal setting, development and improving results
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the group, seeing projects through to completion
• Understand and relay regulatory requirements
• Maintain level 4 qualifications and SMCR supervisory requirements
