The Opportunity:
The Portfolio Evaluation Group (PEG) is a division of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG). PMG focuses on alignment of client investment portfolios, to Fisher Investment’s global investment strategy set by the IPC in the US.
PEG, composed of Analysts and Associates, provides analysis and educational tools that support clients’ long-term financial success.
This role offers the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of core finance theory, FI’s client-focused investment strategy process, the firm’s portfolio management philosophies, and the use of financial planning tools such as Monte Carlo analysis. You will continue to build your skills through training and direct interaction with senior team members. In addition, the PEG Associate will gain exposure to other functions within PMG as well as to core teams in Client Services and Sales.
The Day-to-Day:
- Compile sales package materials for the US PCG and PCGI Inside & Outside Sales teams by gathering and organizing client or prospective client data provided by Onboarding Coordinators (OCs), Client Development Associates (CD), and Portfolio Evaluation Group (PEG) Analysts.
- Collaborate with Investment Counselors (IC), OCs, and CD Associates to produce Morningstar reports that support educational conversations with both prospective and current clients in the US PCG and PCGI sales and service departments.
- Populate sales and client package documents using MS Word, MS Excel, and Suit Wiz, ensuring they align with the specifications provided ICs, OCs, PEG Analysts, and CD Associates.
- Review and update deliverable content and workflows.
- Complete ad-hoc projects to update proposal deliverables and process improvements that meet business and compliance requirements.
Your Qualifications:
- Have an analytical, solution-oriented mindset
- Are interested in interacting regularly with Client Services and Sales, as well as collaborating with other teams inside and outside of PMG, such as Content, IT & LCD
- Are excited to work on projects to help PEG continue to evolve in line with the firm’s long-term business needs and objectives
- Demonstrate strong communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
- Have a basic understanding of the firm’s internal structure and are interested in learning about the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies
