The Opportunity:
The Fisher Investments Luxembourg, Ireland Branch (“FIL IE”) Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and onboarding processes for prospective clients of our European business. This role would be responsible for the operational steps in reviewing Fisher documents, AML documents and AML/KYC information for prospective clients in order to approve them to contract with Fisher. This role will also be responsible for periodic reviews of subsets of clients and overseeing ongoing AML quality. This role is furthermore responsible for reviewing material changes and new/additional documents of existing clients.
The Day-to-Day:
- Assigned operational AML Onboarding tasks to completion, primarily using AML technology/tools
- Identifies, creates and develops documentation for group and provides initial training to partner groups such as CSAs, ICs, Sales etc.
- Supports ongoing training for TAs and ICs in Europe in additional training on AML, statements and documentation
- Acts as a go-to-person for partner groups who have questions regarding AML operations
- Conducts project work to align processes between entities and manage process changes tied to AML technology enhancements
- Manages projects to collect documents linked to regulatory changes in the local countries or the entity country
- Identifies AML elevations for individual clients or trends across several clients and routes appropriately to find appropriate solutions
- Responsible for properly handling and reviewing sensitive and/or confidential documents for clients across different European countries
Your Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience within AML operations preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in sales or service roles, with adequate experience and knowledge of the business processes
- High level of attention to detail
- Works well in a team-oriented setting
- Responsible, accountable and self-motivated
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Salesforce, Fenergo software preferred
- Positive, will-do attitude and consistent professionalism
