The Opportunity:

Join the Finance Support team as a Finance Business Analyst and help shape the future of Corporate Finance! Bring your accounting expertise, analytical mindset, and passion for improvement to a team that’s driving meaningful change. As part of the Finance Support Team, you will report to the Finance Support Team Leader and work closely with outside consultants, essential Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Leaders, and IT Developers to implement department-wide technology and process solutions.

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will apply your accounting knowledge to help establish and rationalize business requirements, design efficient accounting processes, and ensure technology adds real value. You’ll lead parallel testing of current and new technology, communicate insights to stakeholders, run User Acceptance Testing, and translate end-user feedback into actual improvements. This role gives you hands-on experience throughout the project life cycle from initial concept through implementation and stabilization.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Partner with SMEs and outside consultants to identify risks and process gaps/inefficiencies
  • Design, test, and recommend scalable process solutions to SMEs and Team Leaders
  • Support change management efforts to help teams adopt new processes
  • Create process documentation (e.g. process flows, system requirements, training documentation)
  • Collaborate with SMEs and Team Leads to design metrics to monitor the effectiveness of current and future processes

Your Qualifications:

  • Have an accounting background
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • A problem solving mindset and interest in developing practical business solutions
  • Ability to manage complexity and adapt to shifting priorities
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Strong documentation management and organization skills
  • A collaborative approach and ability to connect with diverse teams with varying backgrounds

Compensation:

  • $70,000 - $95,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. 
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
