The Opportunity:

The Accounts Receivable Team is responsible for accurately processing incoming client management fee payments across nearly all Fisher entities globally. In doing so, AR provides accurate client payment inputs that are included in financial, tax and management reporting; thereby contributing to having an accurate picture of the Firm’s business activities.

As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Leader, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the team to ensure work is appropriately distributed across team members and completed accurately and timely. You will play a vital role in hiring and developing talent within the team. Additionally, you’ll manage the end-to-end cash application processes while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. You will provide excellent internal client service by resolving complex issues and guiding creative solutions for our internal clients. Finally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Finance as you lead the team in scaling for growth and in maintaining processes that span across multiple business units.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead the development and training of the AR Team
  • Oversee the timely and accurate execution of all AR functions
  • Be accountable for ensuring adherence to operating procedures, policies, and key controls
  • Support key technology initiatives and innovations in AR and across the Finance department
  • Oversee AR related month-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliation, and journal entries
  • Analyze reporting and act on the information to improve compliance and drive process improvements
  • Manage all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment to improve the training, efficiency, and results of the team

Your Qualifications:

  • You are a collaborative leader who can skillfully enforce adherence to operating procedures, policies, and key controls
  • You enjoy process management and have superior organizational skills
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $140,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
