The Opportunity:
The Campus Security Coordinator works in the office and acts as unarmed physical security personnel. They are responsible for detecting, monitoring, and deterring harmful activity on campus property. They report to and respond to Security Operations Center (SOC) alerted activity while providing service and assistance to our campus visitors and employees. They comply with directives that promote a safe and inviting workplace.
The Day-to-Day:
- Respond to service calls and resolve any issues with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy
- Patrols and monitors locations in Tampa under Fisher ownership/Property Management
- Conducts investigations and assists FI employees in all matters safety related on FI property
- Interacts with the public and workforce participants
- Ability to work swing, weekend, or other shifts as assigned to support the firm’s 24/7 operations
- Must be able to perform physical exertion: run, walk and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and have dexterity of hands and fingers
- Must have the ability to work in the elements (i.e. extreme hot and cold) as needed
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of law enforcement, military, education and experience required
- Ability to operate a company vehicle to accommodate presence patrols
- Highly developed qualitative and/or quantitative skills required
- Ability to analyze various situations and develop creative solutions
