Investment Operations is a positive, collaborative department that betters processes, technology and employees. Investment Ops consists of four teams with a broad range of roles and responsibilities, all tied in some way to the operational aspects of portfolio management. All teams are important to the "Life of a Trade" for each of FI's departments - PCG, FIIG, and PCGI.
Securities Operations (Sec Ops) oversees the securities-related data and Corporate Actions for the firm. This encompasses setting up securities in our internal systems, maintaining attributes, ensuring accurate valuation (pricing), overseeing corporate actions, and monitoring proxy voting. The team is also important to the communication of securities related changes and events to Research, Investment Operations, Investment Solutions, and Investment Counselors. We are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the security-level information and events used by many teams throughout the firm.
The Day-to-Day:
As a Securities Operations Analyst you will gain a wealth of industry knowledge by using and supporting our systems (Bloomberg, ICE, Access, Excel (can perform complex functions), etc.), lead projects, and maintain knowledge on the team. You will also make a big impact by participating in the technology modernization efforts across the department.
Responsibilities:
- Support current systems and participate in Technology projects related to the team and department
- Help the team work through and build processes surrounding one-off and recurring challenges
- Create process analysis and design for old and new team tasks
- Be an expert for all Sec Ops responsibilities, develop an understanding of team risks, and ensure appropriate action is taken to address areas of risk
- Autonomously complete team Analyst responsibilities quickly and accurately
- Work with team members to promote continued education related to team tasks ensuring adherence to established P&Ps

Previous Analyst experience is not required.
Compensation:
- $80,000 - $120,000 base salary per year in the state of CA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
