Strategic Initiatives is the newest PMG group focused on how to scale our ability to manage $2.3T and more. Strategic Initiatives has been established to drive forward enhancements to existing processes applying optimization and risk model technology. You will work closely with leadership to find ways to improve client outcomes while scaling and improving efficiency across PMG.

The Day-to-Day:
- Provides leadership and subject matter expertise for programs that cross multiple businessunits / functional areas in the areas analytics, data visualization, risk, and/or portfolio construction
- Manages prioritized programs and is responsible for successful delivery of the intended measurable outcomes and value proposition
- Supports strategic innovation by assessing business needs, evaluating solutions, and implement new programs to solve, improve, or create significant benefits or opportunities for the Firm
- Supports relationships with key stakeholders representing all departments impacted by the program which may include IT, LCD, Human Capital, Third Party Vendors, and Business Units
- Creates and/or oversees training materials development for functional areas and/or other business units
- Coaches, mentors, and trains program team members on program-specific knowledge and products
- Identifies, builds, and tracks applicable metrics to evaluate success and determine areas for improvement and areas of opportunity
Your Qualifications:
5+ years of experience, a plus (but not required) if you have experience working with optimizers, risk models, and products such as Axioma, Barra, Bloomberg, FactSet or Charles River
Demonstrated problem solving skills, including developing creative solutions
Experience prioritizing workload and time-management across various complex tasks
Ability to work through setbacks, challenges, or unexpected results
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to nuance answers to questions as a function of audience knowledge
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $135,000 base salary per year in the state of CA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
