The Opportunity:

The US PCG Training and Development group focuses on running and enhancing the training programs within the US Private Client Group. We not only work on training - we identify group needs and pursue training solutions where applicable, from job-related skills, to broad market knowledge, to bridge programs for developing interest in new roles. This is an exciting and ever-evolving group that sits at the heart of the action of US PCG's growth and opportunities!

Currently, we're searching for a passionate, high-minded person to lead our Investment Counselor continued education program.  In this role, you’ll be tasked with ensuring our Investment Counselors are empowered with the knowledge, skills and resources they need to provide our clients with the best possible service.  You’ll work closely with IC management and a cross-functional team of Learning & Development experts to ensure we provide one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Assess and analyze training needs across our Investment Counselor force
  • Maintain and modify existing training programs, while identifying new areas of focus
  • Work closely with US PCG Business Process Management to train ICs on all Modernization related changes
  • Design and develop training content in various formats for IC initiatives and training programs
  • Lead IC training classes, both in-person and virtual, and assist with instructor development
  • Ensure appropriate analysis is performed on the impact of training programs, continually identifying program strengths, threats and opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting and communication to key stakeholders across US PCG

Your Qualifications:

  • Have two years of IC experience with a highly successful track record (preferred)
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of FI's investment philosophy and the capital market landscape
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
  • Are passionate about helping others develop professionally
  • Thrive in ambiguity and embrace challenges, requiring limited direction to achieve priorities
  • Effectively collaborate on projects and are a creative thinker
  • Are proficient with data analysis and can apply those insights to make data-driven decisions

We will conduct a preliminary screen of applicants based on qualifications, performance and manager feedback. All applicants may not receive an interview. If you’d like to know more about the role, feel free to get in touch with Jeff McKown (who the role will report to) or Matthew Taylor.
