Investment Operations consists of seven teams with a broad range of roles and responsibilities, all tied in some way to the operational aspects of portfolio management. All teams are important to the success of each revenue-driving business unit - PCG, FIIG and PCGI. Portfolio Accounting reconciles account holdings, cash balances and transactions with custodial data. In doing so, the team applies business logic to ensure the accuracy of information with custodians and in our systems which is used to manage client portfolios, report performance and bill each client account.

As PA TL, your greatest undertakings will ensure the team's success, achieving annual goals and objectives, and maintaining a culture of process improvement and new ideas. You will gain exposure to departments across the firm as you lead the team in scaling for growth and in accommodating increasingly complex workflows that span across multiple teams. If you're successful in this role, you'll maintain a highly autonomous team that accomplishes a significant number of projects each year, while building a pipeline of candidates for future technical and leadership positions on the team and in PMG.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Ensure team's daily and ad hoc responsibilities are completed error free and on time through effective coordination of work
  • Hire and build talent for team of Associates and Analysts, ensuring sufficient coverage for workflows at all times
  • Lead the team through the onboarding and troubleshooting of new complex operational workflows
  • Support team engagement through career and skill development conversations
  • Spot and manage risk in the team's daily operations, project proposals and when creating new workflows

Your Qualifications:

  • Enjoy coaching and developing others to help them define and achieve success
  • Motivated to improve the team, the firm and yourself, and you have a strong drive for results
  • Effectively troubleshoot complex situations and take action when needed
  • Able to create a long term strategic vision for a team and oversee pursuit of it
  • Are an effective communicator with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines at the same time
  • Willing to advocate for the team in improving efficiency and working with other teams to make sure there is alignment in processes with core responsibilities

We will conduct a preliminary screen of applicants based on qualifications, performance and manager feedback. Those who meet the hiring manager’s requirements will be moved forward in the process by participating in an interview.
