The Opportunity:

The US PCG Training and Development group focuses on running and enhancing the training programs within the US Private Client Group. We not only work on training - we identify group needs and pursue training solutions where applicable, from job-related skills to broad market knowledge, to bridge programs for developing interest in new roles. This exciting and ever-evolving group sits at the heart of the action of US PCG's growth and opportunities!

Currently, we're searching for a passionate, high-minded person who is willing to leap into ambiguity and learn. In this role, you’ll partner with our Training Program Managers to analyze, design, develop and implement training solutions. You’ll work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across PCG roles to ensure we provide one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry.

If you want to help shape how we train US PCG employees while designing exciting new programs, this is your role!

The Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct needs assessments and propose recommendations that support the overall training strategy
  • Translate business requirements in order to build effective training solutions across multiple modalities (instructor-led training, eLearning, job aides, etc.)
  • Leverage a digital adoption platform (Walkme) to assist end-users with operational workflows
  • Strike a balance between speed and attention to detail to deliver quality work on deadline
  • Use project management fundamentals to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and methodology
  • Exhibit an aptitude for graphic and visual design appropriate to the business environment and training audience
  • Work both independently and collaboratively

Your Qualifications:

  • Have experience in instructional design and content development
  • Show an understanding of MS Office, especially PowerPoint (learning design best practices, ROPES model application, etc.) & Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.)
  • Proficient with content authoring tools and development tools
  • Demonstrated ability to use ADDIE or other ISD framework to create content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are a high performer with verifiable success in your current position, ensuring quality in everything you do
  • Want to help educate and inspire fellow employees
  • Appreciate how US PCG services clients
  • Enjoy generating new ideas and thrive on deadlines
  • Have a desire to improve the firm and your career

We will conduct a preliminary screen of applicants based on qualifications, performance and manager feedback. Those who meet the hiring manager’s requirements will be moved forward in the process by participating in an interview. If you’d like to know more about the role, feel free to get in touch with Gabe Kern.
