The Opportunity:
We're looking for someone ambitious who manages complexity through excellent decision quality and has a desire to develop talent. You'll bring experience building strategies to achieve results, be comfortable working with prospective and existing clients over numerous topics and can work collaboratively with other departments. With the continued growth of our US Client Services, the WealthBuilder Investment Counselor Team Leader role is an excellent opportunity to have a lasting impact on the lives of our clients!
The Day-to-Day:
- Ensure client-servicing guidelines are met
- Monitor team compliance surrounding applicable policies and procedures
- Oversee the development of talent for a team of ICs
- Guide the metric-based performance of an IC team
- Participate in the interviewing and hiring of new ICs
- Work towards developing the group and department
- Partner with other departments to resolve elevated client service issues
- Potential travel for multiple reasons including in-person client meetings and client educational events as permitted
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years with FI
- Experience in a leadership role or enjoy coaching others to success
- Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- An understanding of our internal structure, investment philosophy and strategies, and long-term goals
- Pride yourself on your communication that includes public speaking
- A willingness to dedicate yourself toward bettering the lives of both our clients and our employees
- Already passed (or are willing to pass) the Series 65
Compensation:
- $90,000 - $140,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
Previous Investment Counselor experience is welcomed, while previous management experience is not required. We will conduct a preliminary screen of applicants based on qualifications, performance, and manager feedback.
