The Global Custody Management team is responsible for establishing and maintaining our business-to-business PCG/PCGI custody relationships across the globe. With more than 30 relationships under our management, GCM plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients and Fisher receive the best possible service and solutions from our custodial partners. By effectively managing custodians, GCM helps our firm’s 20-20 vision by continually innovating while ensuring the best possible service and offerings for our clients.
As a European Global Custody Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with your assigned custodians by acting as a main point of contact at FI. You will also regularly interact with a variety of groups within Fisher, supporting initiatives focused on improving custodian service/operations, scalability/efficiency, digital and technological integration, and implementation of new rules/regulations, just to name a few!
The Day-to-Day:
- Serve as a primary relationship contact for Fisher and your assigned custodians
- Help with ongoing relationship management of assigned custodians
- Participate in relationship management calls with custodian managers
- Generate reports, conduct audits, act on daily alerts, and problem-solve custodian inquiries to ensure exceptional service to Fisher and clients.
- Ensure a strong working relationship between Fisher and custodian
- Become an expert on internal procedures, groups and specific roles
- Lead a variety of custodian related projects, often spanning multiple internal groups
- Learn about new rules and regulations and how they impact the firm’s operations
- Educate internal contacts on our setup with custodians by building resources and assisting in training for groups around the firm
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to make the client experience better and increase operational efficiency
Your Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Fisher Investments experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to drive results and manage workload with varying complexities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment demanding flexibility and creativity
- Enjoy dealing with ambiguity and problem solving
- Consistently seek to understand the “why”
Compensation:
- $60,000 - $80,000 base salary per year for employees in the state of WA. Employees new to the role should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
- Employees will continue to be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance. For any questions, please reach out to the hiring manager.
